The application for admission opens on Friday, December 14, 2018 and will close at 11:59pm EST on Friday, February 22, 2019. We anticipate approximately 800 applications this year for 75 available spaces.
After all required materials are received and the application for admission is completed, the application file will be assembled and shared with the admissions committee. The admissions committee is comprised of faculty from the Jerome Fisher Program in the Management and Technology department at the University of Pennsylvania.
Selections are based on a record of academic excellence, a genuine interest in experiencing the life of a student studying management and technology, a demonstrated passion for learning more about the program, and effort to complete the application and all supplemental materials as promptly as possible ahead of the deadline. By design, our application is meant to feel similar to a college application. We expect applicants to use this experience to gain valuable experience and have the opportunity to present the best information possible to the committee.
Admissions decisions will be sent via email before 5pm EST on Friday, April 12, 2019. Historically, on that day, the committee has invited enough students to fill the class to capacity. Those accepted students will be asked to RSVP by April 19 and pay their tuition by April 26.
Applicants should note that admission to this program is quite competitive and we simply do not have enough spaces to accommodate everyone. Rising juniors who are denied would have another year of eligibility to apply again next year. Regardless of the outcome, we hope that all applicants will find that they learned a lot from the application process and find ways to reflect on the experience when they apply to college.
